Easton recently traveled to Lisbon, Portugal as a coordinating author on the third United Nations World Ocean Assessment. The meeting is the start of a year-long process to develop a comprehensive document on the state of the world’s oceans. Easton will lead the chapter on how human pandemics, including COVID-19, affect the ocean.
