Last week, two members of the lab, Michaela Edwards (co-advised with Dr. Brittany Jellison) and Danielle Fradet (co-advised with Dr. Laura Kloepper), successfully defended their MS theses!
Michaela shared her work on how oysters grow and modify their behavior in response to stressors, such as invasive crab predators or changes in water flow. Danielle unpacked how to track the phenology of penguins in Antarctica using non-invasive passive acoustic monitoring.

Congrats to both of these rockstars! They each have bright futures ahead of them.
